COLEGE PARK, Md. (Feb. 14) – From Dean Lucy Dalglish:
I’m happy to report that our own Clint Bucco is a finalist for the 2017 Board of Regents’ Staff Award. Clint is one of seven finalists chosen by Dr. Loh from this campus and is cited for his “Effectiveness and Efficiency in Academic Transformation.” The award was developed by the Board of Regents as a way to “publicly recognize exceptional performance on the part of staff at all University System of Maryland institutions.”
Clint is an indispensable and innovative team player here in Knight Hall, helping to keep everything from computers to IT and phones running smoothly. His software – and management skills – makes the equipment room operate in the best way possible for our students. Several members of our faculty and staff nominated Clint for this honor.
We are extremely proud that Clint is a finalist for this USM award and we can’t wait until this spring for a final decision by the Board of Regents. In the meantime, please be sure to congratulate him on this honor.
See the University Senate website for more information.
