A Reporter Remembers: Sid Davis and the Kennedy Assassination

50 years after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, former Group W reporter Sid Davis comes to Knight Hall to remember. He was in the press pool covering the Kennedy visit to Dallas on November 22, 1963 and was on Air Force One when President Johnson was sworn in. This brown bag event is cosponsored with Special Collections in Mass Media & Culture, UMD Libraries, which holds much of Davis' collection of audio reports and other memorabilia. Library of American Broadcasting Director Chuck Howell will introduce Davis. He will be available to answer questions after his presentation.
