Symposium and Panel Discussion: Serving the Health Information Needs of Latinas

On Wed. May 9, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. faculty and students will share results of their study of the health information needs of Latinas in the neighborhoods surrounding College Park. Events include a panel discussion of scholars, health professionals, journalists and Steven Waldman, author of the new Federal Communications Commission report “The Information Needs of Communities: The Changing Media Landscape in a Broadband Age.” The symposium and panel discussion is funded by the Carnegie Knight Foundation.
