Howard Bernstein | Morning & Noon Meteorologist

Meteorologist Howard Bernstein joined 9NEWS NOW in November of 2000. You can now see him reporting the weather weekdays on the 9NEWS NOW in the mornings from 4:25-7:00 AM and again at Noon.

Andrea Roane | Weekday Morning Anchor

Andrea Roane has been with W*USA 9 since 1981, and currently co-anchors 9 NEWS NOW from 4:25 a.m. - 7 a.m. Andrea is best known to viewers for her passionate reporting on breast health issues and promoting the importance of Early Detection in the fight against breast cancer.

Kristen Berset | Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter

Kristen comes to the DC area from WBFF in Baltimore, where she was the Weekend Sports Anchor and part of the team that won the Chesapeake Bay Region AP award for Best Year Round Sports Coverage.

11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Derek McGinty | Weeknight Anchor

Derek McGinty is the weekday anchor for 9NEWS NOW at 7pm and weeknight co-anchor for 9NEWS NOW at 11pm. From March 2001 to June 2003, he was co-anchor of ABC NEWS' overnight broadcast, World News Now, and anchor of World News This Morning. Additionally, Derek was a correspondent for "HBO's Real Sports" for 4 years.

12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Anny Hong | Meterologist/Reporter

Anny Hong joins WUSA9 as a Meteorologist/Reporter from KOVR, the CBS affiliate in Sacramento, Calif., where she worked as a Meteorologist/Reporter/Anchor.

Monika Samtani | Traffic Reporter

Monika Samtani has been involved in the Washington, DC media industry as an anchor, reporter, and producer for over 20 years.

Topper Shutt | Chief Meteorologist

Topper Shutt is Chief Meteorologist for 9 NEWS NOW and appears weekdays on the station's 5pm, 6pm, 7pm & 11pm newscasts, as well as throughout the day and night during all major weather events affecting our region.

Lesli Foster | Weeknight Anchor

Lesli Foster is an Emmy award-winning journalist who co-anchors 9NEWS NOW at 5pm, and is the solo anchor on 9NEWS NOW at 6pm. She also leads the 9NEWS NOW Consumer Unit, covering major consumer issues that affect area residents.
