COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Broadcast Education Association has announced its 2016 Festival of Arts winners and the Philip Merrill College of Journalism came away with major awards in a number of categories, including “Best Student Newscast” and a “Best of Festival” award in the sports category. Winners will be showcased during an awards ceremony at the BEA Convention in Las Vegas in April.
