Zackary Albrecht

Zackary Albrecht became the Philip Merrill College of Journalism’s program manager of alumni relations and development in June 2022, bringing with him more than six years of experience in fundraising, marketing and community engagement. 

Before joining Merrill College, Albrecht served as the associate director of communications and fundraising at San Diego State University, where he led the institution’s annual giving efforts.

He earned a B.A. in journalism from San Diego State University, and certifications in crowdfunding from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and conflict resolution from the National Conflict Resolution Center.
