The Shirley Povich Center for Sports Journalism at the University of Maryland Philip Merrill College of Journalism is excited to announce the schedule for its sixth annual summer camp, which will take place July 8-12.

The Shirley Povich Summer Journalism Sports Camp has become one of the most popular camps for high school students interested in sports media. Students are taught by professionals in the field and will be able to gain valuable hands-on, real-world experiences.

Speakers and presenters are still being finalized and will be announced closer to camp.

This camp is for high school students entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2019. The cost is $100 for the week and includes breakfast and lunch each day. A limited number of spots remain. Click here to register.
