The independent, student-run newspaper for the University of Maryland. Students have the opportunity to write for a variety of sections including, Sports, Opinion, Diversions and News, ranging from this university’s campus to Prince George’s County. Content is published daily, and a print edition is distributed throughout the city and on campus every Thursday. Note: Check out the Diamondback General Assignment meetings. These are great for students looking to complete their 320 outside published clips requirement as a freelancer. Meetings are on Sundays at 8 p.m. in the production room across from the DBK offices on the third floor of the South Campus Dining Hall. A student-run digital publication covering diverse stories on the University of Maryland campus, as well as the surrounding area. The organization holds weekly general assignment meetings.
