Emma Patti Harris is deputy managing editor for visual and immersive experiences at Education Week, where she oversees the photo, video and art/graphics teams covering education news across the nation.
She was previously the director of content, editing and design studio for The Baltimore Sun and helped the organization become a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize after the death of Freddie Gray and the riots in Baltimore.
She earned a bachelor's in Journalism & Mass Communication at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009.
