Maria Lee

Maria Lee brought 27 years working in education within the University of Maryland system to Merrill College. She has extensive knowledge of higher education, financials and administration. She supports the Philip Merrill College of Journalism’s business and financial operations. She previously was the program coordinator for the UMD Howard Center for Investigative Journalism.

Before joining the University of Maryland, Lee was the associate director of administration and operations at University of Maryland University College.

Lee is passionate and creative, and she enjoys the challenge and constant learning she gains from being surrounded by academics.
