Olivia Logan, APR, is a 2008 graduate of the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism and an alum of UMTV, WMUC and The Diamondback. She is a program analyst for Systems Planning and Analysis, providing strategic communications support for the U.S. Navy.
Logan is a former journalist and accredited communications professional with over 15 years of diverse experience spanning the military, government and private sectors. She is skilled in developing and executing strategic communications plans, managing complex internal and external messaging, and advising senior leaders on brand, engagement and organizational change.
Between growing up in a Navy family and several years as a defense contractor, Logan has deep familiarity with the military environment, particularly public affairs, policy, operations and the day-to-day realities of military life. In addition to her work as a communicator, Logan has spent time as an elementary school teacher, a fitness instructor, and in a variety of retail and hospitality positions.
Throughout her military upbringing, Logan called many places home, though her family established roots outside Annapolis, Maryland, in 2001. She currently lives in Washington, D.C., with her four-legged roommate, Penny.
