Rhiannon Walker '15

Rhiannon Walker '15 is a contributor for NPR. She is an alumna of the University of Maryland, College Park and Philip Merrill College of Journalism. 

Before joining NPR, she worked for Yahoo Sports, The Athletic and ESPN's The Undefeated. She is a recipient of The Shirley Povich Center for Sports Journalism's All-Star Student Award ('15) and Rising Star Award ('18). Walker is from Fort Washington, Maryland, and a lifelong D.C.-area native. You can still find her playing pickup basketball at the ERC or at a concert near you.
