Victoria Black

Victoria Black connects alumni, parents and friends of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism with impactful philanthropic opportunities like scholarships and program support.

Before coming to the University of Maryland, Black served as chief development officer for American University's School of Communication and previously worked as director of development for AU's School of Public Affairs. Prior to her time at AU, Black was the deputy finance director for Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland.

A North Carolina native, Black studied English and political science at the University of South Carolina and earned an M.B.A. from the UMD Robert H. Smith School of Business.
