The University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism currently has four exciting job openings with time remaining to apply. The college is searching for a new director of its award-winning Howard Center for Investigative Journalism, a new bureau director for Capital News Service and two data journalists for the Howard Center.

UMD Researchers Developing AI-Powered Health Warning System to Predict Disease Tied to Extreme Weather Events
COLLEGE PARK — The University of Maryland will lead an eight-country research consortium to develop an artificial intelligence-powered early warning system to help communities prepare for and respond to diarrheal disease risks — and potentially other conditions — worsened by extreme weather events.
