COLLEGE PARK — The University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism is giving Maryland residents the opportunity to shape how the state’s local news organizations can better serve them.
Merrill College faculty and students are collaborating with Maryland news outlets to research the local news and information needs of Marylanders by conducting one-hour, confidential interviews with people who live in the state.
Maryland residents interested in participating in the study have until Nov. 15 to fill out this short, confidential application form.
During these interviews, the team is asking about Marylanders’ perspectives, experiences and how they learn about the things that are most important to them where they live.
