As we plan the celebration of the University of Maryland Philip Merrill College of Journalism's 50th anniversary, we want to tell the college's story through your eyes.
We’re inviting you to record and submit videos, including at least one of the following prompts and anything else you’d like to share:
- What makes Merrill College special?
- What is your favorite Merrill memory?
- How did Merrill College prepare you for life after graduation?
- Who was the most impactful professor on you and your life, and why?
The submissions from our community will be weaved into a video that will premiere at our 50th anniversary celebration on March 30, 2023!
Videos can be recorded on a cellphone, but we ask that all are filmed horizontally. Be creative in staging your backdrop, or the setting of your recording! Please start your video by saying your name and graduation year.
Email the video, and any other photos, videos or materials from throughout your time at Merrill College to Communications Manager Josh Land at joshland@umd.edu by the end of January 2023.
Merrill College reserves the right to edit, crop or alter the submitted materials for the final product. Submission does not guarantee it will be used.
Thanks for your help in celebrating the rich history of Merrill College!
