Emily Lang

Emily Lang provides academic advising to undergraduate students in the Philip Merrill College of Journalism. 

Lang joined the college in 2023 and has worked with adolescents and young adults as a social worker before coming to the University of Maryland. Lang earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa before obtaining her master's in Social Work from the University of South Carolina.
