John Ourand (‘89)

John Ourand is a sports correspondent for Puck News. Previously, he covered all things media for Sports Business Journal since 2006. Before then, he spent 12 years reporting on the media industry in the U.S. and Europe, reporting for International Cable magazine and serving as editor for such outlets as Cable World and CableFAX Daily. After graduating from the University of Maryland, Ourand got his start in journalism as a reporter for the Washington Post-owned weekly newspaper The Gazette in Montgomery County, Maryland.
