LaMonte Summers

LaMonte Summers is a former media attorney (FCC, private practice) and longtime journalism/media studies college professor (25 years), teaching media law, media law and ethics, and other media-related courses, at major U.S. universities. He has worked as a radio news reporter in Providence, Rhode Island (formerly WEAN-AM) and newspaper editorial assistant (The Boston Globe). In recent years, he has been a frequent news analyst/media contributor on radio talk shows in Baltimore (WEAA-FM) and Philadelphia (WURD-AM).

He has earned degrees from Boston University (B.S.), Ohio University (M.A.) and Boston College Law School (J.D.), and achieved A.B.D. status in a doctoral program in journalism and mass communication (Howard University).
