Three UMD Howard Center Students Named to Scripps Howard Fund Summer Class of Roy W. Howard Fellows
CINCINNATI – The Scripps Howard Fund has chosen the 2023-2024 class of Roy W. Howard Fellows as well as the nonprofit newsrooms hosting the Fellows. The program supports investigative journalists, giving them hands-on experience working in major media outlets.
Merrill Ph.D. Students and Faculty to be Honored, Present Research at 2023 AEJMC National Conference
COLLEGE PARK — Six Ph.D. students and two faculty members from the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism won awards from the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, and 11 students had research papers accepted for presentation at this August’s AEMJC national conference in Washington, D.C.
