Brittany Mayes

Brittany Mayes is a graphics reporter at The Washington Post, mainly covering politics, sports and breaking news. Before joining The Post in June 2018, she worked at NPR on the visuals team as a news apps developer.

She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016 and attended The New York Times Student Journalism Institute in the same year. She is an executive mentor in the Online News Association Student Newsroom and works with the Press Pass Mentors organization.
