Diana Krovvidi
Diana Krovvidi
Before joining the Ph.D. program at Merrill College, Diana Krovvidi worked as an international journalist for 10 years in media outlets in Russia, Germany and the United Kingdom. Starting her career in investigative journalism, she later worked as a researcher on documentary projects and as an international producer on news programs. In her last job, Krovvidi was the head of the international news department, where she helped to train young professionals to become international news producers.
Apart from her journalism background, she also worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross in Moscow and the European Federation of Journalists in Brussels. In the EFJ, she was involved in numerous projects that raised awareness of threats against journalists in Europe, as well as current issues in media, such as how to combat disinformation and address the ethical questions regarding the emergence of AI in journalism.
