Nick Ammazzalorso ('99)

Nick Ammazzalorso, a native of Connecticut and recipient of a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Merrill College in 1999, is currently the Senior Director of Communications and Community at DIRECTV.

After graduating from Maryland, Ammazzalorso spent two years as a broadcaster (in Rock Hill, South Carolina and Buffalo, New York) before moving into public relations. In his 20+ years in PR, he enjoyed roles at the Los Angeles Galaxy, UCLA, Toyota and various agencies before joining DIRECTV in 2021, where he leads external communications.
