Merrill College Sends Nation-High Seven Students to DJNF Class of 2021
PRINCETON, N.J. — Eighty-six college students will work this summer in paid internships at news organizations around the country through the Dow Jones News Fund. The annual program, which provides pre-internship training in business and data reporting, digital media and editing, will place emerging journalists in more than 50 newsrooms, from community-based nonprofits to the nation’s top media companies.
Merrill College Dean Lucy Dalglish Wins Scripps Howard/AEJMC Award for Administrator of the Year
COLLEGE PARK -- Lucy A. Dalglish, dean of the University of Maryland Philip Merrill College of Journalism, on Wednesday won a prestigious Scripps Howard Award in the Administrator of the Year category, the Scripps Howard Foundation and The E.W. Scripps Company announced.
